Team Meeting Part 1
Welp. Got a notice a week ago that there is a team meeting for Henry. Quel surprise. Every damn year we get pulled in to be told that he is very bright but not living up to his potential. After his interims from the first term, I met with his academic teachers. We came up with some procedures to help him stay more organized. He got b's and C's on his report card. Not great. Not terrible.
I am not sure what prompted this meeting. They meet whether parents come or not. Missy was supposed to come but got an email this morning that she started a new job this week and will be in orientation. WTF? I am wondering if indeed she did lose her job a month ago. Oh who knows.
Anyway, my stress level is greatly reduced because she is so embarrassing in meetings like this.
I am thinking that we need to get Henry some help with his executive function. My fear that middle school would be too much for his incredibly unfocused and disorganized self has proved true.
